How early should I ​arrive on test day?

You need to check into the testing center at least 15 ​minutes prior to your scheduled GED® test ​appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after ​your scheduled appointment time, you may not be ​admitted and could lose your test fee.


What should I bring on ​the day of the test?

You are required to bring a physical ​copy of your non-expired, government-​issued photo ID with you on test day.If ​you do not present proper ID or ​required information (per the ​jurisdiction policies) you will be turned ​away the day of testing and will lose ​your test payments. We do not accept ​any electronic copies of your ​identification.

What can I bring into the ​testing room?

All personal items must remain ​outside of the testing room in a ​secure area.

Will I need to memorize ​math formulas?

No, you will not need to memorize ​formulas for your GED® test. You ​will be able to use the Formula ​Reference sheet on test day.

Where are my scores?

Scores are typically posted within 24 hours of taking your GED® test or GED Ready® practice test. However, sometimes it ​can take up to 2 to 3 business days. You’ll receive an email once your scores have posted to your account.

Your scores can be found on the ‘My Scores’ page after logging in. In the “Scores” section of your account, you will see a ​detailed score report for each GED Ready® practice test and each GED® test subject that you have taken along with a list of ​skills to work on to improve your score.
